Building Buzzlab From The Ground Up

    Context

This engagement grew into a system that let the company double its team within a quarter while keeping culture and operational quality intact.

Buzzlab began as a vision without infrastructure — no team, processes, or physical workspace. My role was to help build the operational foundation from scratch.

    Challenge

Over three months, I hired 20+ people across Marketing, Operations, Interiors, and Creative functions — 15 within the first two months. The core challenge wasn’t speed, but alignment. Buzzlab operated with a fully in-office culture, while many creative professionals preferred remote-first roles. Hiring required identifying people who would genuinely thrive within a collaborative, in-person environment.

    Systems Built

    • Built hiring workflows and recruitment pipelines
    • Structured cross-functional hiring systems
    • Coordinated office setup with interior designers and vendors
    • Established leave policies and HR systems
    • Created remote work guidelines
    • Implemented POSH compliance framework
    • Helped define organizational structure

    Outcomes

    • Built a 20+ member team within 3 months
    • Established operational and HR foundations from zero
    • Created a strong in-office culture with high alignment

Scaling Talent At A Deep Tech Robotics Startup

    Context

The work created a hiring engine that let the company grow its headcount while reducing the time leadership spent on recruitment.

CynLr was a 50-person robotics startup operating in a highly niche talent market. Hiring processes existed, but lacked scalable infrastructure.

    Challenge

The mandate covered both technical and non-technical hiring — from embedded engineers to branding and marketing roles. A major challenge was building creative and branding functions within an engineering-first company, where attracting non-technical talent required repositioning the company narrative and culture.

    Systems Built

    • Built recruitment infrastructure from scratch
    • Set up ATS workflows and hiring SOPs
    • Created careers page and structured hiring documentation
    • Built vendor ecosystem aligned with specialized hiring needs
    • Led hiring for CynLr’s Swiss branch office
    • Built the Branding & Marketing team through direct campus outreach and sourcing

    Outcomes

    • Established scalable hiring systems
    • Built CynLr’s first Branding & Marketing function
    • Streamlined recruitment operations across teams and geographies

    Optimizing Hiring Systems At Cuemath

    Context

Faster, more predictable hiring meant the teams could scale without bottlenecks, and the company could pursue growth targets with confidence.

At Cuemath, the focus extended beyond hiring execution into improving recruitment efficiency, candidate quality, and process design.

    Challenge

The existing hiring process was slow and conversion-heavy, with five interview rounds contributing to candidate drop-offs and operational inefficiency.

    Systems Built

    • Reduced interview process from 5 rounds to 3
    • Improved candidate pipeline management
    • Increased diversity hiring through targeted sourcing
    • Designed pre-joining engagement workflows
    • Built buddy systems for onboarding
    • Mentored interns through SOPs and training systems
    • Created structured call scripts and documentation

    Outcomes

    • Achieved 50% diversity hiring ratio
    • Increased offer-to-join ratio by 17%
    • Improved hiring velocity and candidate experience
    • Built scalable onboarding and intern training processes

    Sonam C Chhabra

    Context

Refined positioning to balance aspirational and relatable storytelling

I came in to sharpen the voice, structure the content system, and quietly compound her reach.

    Challenge

Position a multi-disciplinary creator without flattening her into a single niche.

    Systems Built

    • Defined three content lanes and a weekly editorial rhythm.
    • Rewrote profile, bio and pinned narrative across platforms.
    • Built a lightweight production system around hooks and formats.
    • Set up a measurement loop on what was actually compounding.

    Outcomes

    Siddhartha Singh

    Context

Siddhartha had a strong original voice but an inconsistent content engine. The growth curve was flat — not because the work was weak, but because the system around it was missing.

We rebuilt the engine: format, cadence, hooks, and an AI-assisted production loop.

    Challenge

Take a creator from sporadic posting to a compounding system, without losing what made the voice his.

    Systems Built

    • Designed a weekly format ladder across short and long form.
    • Built an AI-assisted ideation and editing workflow.
    • Restructured hooks, thumbnails and titling against live data.
    • Set up a 90-day review loop on what to keep, kill or compound.

    Outcomes

A note on selection

“I take a small number of engagements each year. Each one is built as a system — not a campaign.”
